Did you know?
You could be advertising overseas from Google Ads. If you select the “Presence or interest” option, the “Location options” selection will allow Google to advertise internationally.
How to check?
In Google Ads Settings, click Locations, hit “Locations Options”, and scroll. If the Presence or Interest option is selected, there’s a high chance you have been advertising overseas. If “only the people in my location are checked,” you should be fine.
You can run a custom report to see if your ads appeared overseas; the pre-setup Locations report in Google Ads will not show this information.

Paid Social
From TikTok to Instagram, I’ve used all the paid social channels. I’ve seen just as many (if not more) traps across social channels that can cost brands thousands if done wrong. One of the biggest traps in Meta (Facebook) is the old lifetime budget vs daily. Make sure when you set them up that you use the right one. If you place your campaign’s lifetime budget in the daily setting, that will cost you.

To prepare for the Cookieless world, Google needed a new Analytics system. Its predecessor was easy(ish) to use, and we all knew it. GA4 is totally different, with many of the old functionalities needing to be custom-built.
